From May 26, 2023 to May 4, 2024, the Archives nationales du monde du travail in Roubaix presented a unique exhibition: "Travailler en temps de guerre" For the first time, work in France during the First and Second World Wars was highlighted through the history of companies and anonymous careers. The scenography we designed aimed to occupy the central bay of the building, playing on height and depth to enhance the architecture of the place and also highlight the role of women and men in the face of historical upheavals, to explain the impact of their actions on the evolution of society, while offering an attractive staging to make this rich body of documentation accessible to all.
