We were asked to participate in a competition to create the visual concept of the Salon Régional des Métiers d'Art 2018, and that was our proposal.

We were asked to put together a wide variety of craftsmanships, because that's all this Salon is about, an immense event that gather the most important practices in France's craftsmanships universe. And that's what I intended to use, to show all the multidisciplinary character of the annual salon, and by trying to find something could link all the practices together I came to the idea that every craft project starts with some raw/organic material, and then, along the work process it becomes an object.
