The city of Dijon promotes every year the festival "Les Nuits d'Orient" which celebrates this year it's 20 years of existence. The "Les Nuits d'Orients" festival is a undeniable part of Dijon cultural life. With artistic and human encounters, original creations, the festival invites the public to live two weeks of unique moments. On the border between East and West, the festival defends universal human values: respect, tolerance, sharing and crossbreeding are the watchwords of this strong cultural event.

From this context, two poster propositions were imagined as well a event's brochure.The main element is the typographic composition. The words "Nuits" and "Orient" arranged vertically each in a direction opposite are an invitation to take a trip around the world. They evoke by their arrangement the extremes and invite the West to discover the other side of the planet and vice versa. In the background, images, alone or in pairs, recall these two worlds.
