A peniche is a very common type of boat found in many French rivers, and can be destined to the most diverse purposes. Le Bateau Bleu is an event held by the Grand Est region where various cultural activities such as shows, dance numbers, plays, etc. are made from this boat to an audience located exactly in the port where it is anchored.
