A péniche is a common type of boat frequently seen on French rivers, used for a wide variety of purposes. Le Bateau Bleu is an event organized by the Grand Est region, where a range of cultural performances—such as concerts, dance pieces, and theatrical plays—are staged from the boat itself to an audience gathered at the port where it is moored.

Inspired by the nautical ropes so characteristic and ever-present aboard maritime vessels, we present below our proposed visual identity and event poster.
